Ghana News Monitor helps readers discover distinct Ghanaian reporting and direct public notices, then continue to the original source. It is a public-information monitor, not the author of the reporting it links to.

Official notices, publisher reports, source roles, and operational feed health have different meanings and are labelled separately.
Reader dignity
The monitor can be read without an account. It does not use behavioural advertising, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or raw individual click logs.
Publisher respect
Referral links are transparent. Commercial arrangements must not determine source inclusion or editorial discovery.

Read the context, not just the headline.
What is a saved monitor result?
It is a time-stamped snapshot from a reader-requested or scheduled refresh. Its timestamp matters; a result is never presented as a continuous live wire.
What is an official notice?
It is direct material from a recognised public body or institution. The label records the channel; it does not mean Ghana News Monitor independently fact-checked every claim.
What is source health?
Source health reports whether a registered endpoint returned usable material. It is operational information, not a judgment about a publisher or individual claim.
Browser notifications
Opt in to changed saved results—not a hidden stream.
Readers can explicitly enable Ghana Now browser notifications. At most one visible summary may be sent for each materially changed scheduled saved result, which means no more than four notifications in an hour. Notifications open Ghana Now, where the original source links remain available. Permission is never requested on page load, readers can turn updates off, and Ghana News Monitor does not use notification delivery, reads, clicks, devices, or browsing activity to profile readers.
Corrections and accountability
Trust includes a way to challenge the monitor.
Ghana News Monitor is a founder-led monitor and is not currently operated by a separately incorporated organisation. It currently carries no onsite advertising. To report a Ghana News Monitor source-record, label, link, excerpt, or attribution concern, email gh.newsmonitor@gmail.com. The inbox is monitored for correction and source-review requests; no fixed response time is claimed until staffing capacity is published. Original publishers and public institutions remain responsible for their own material.
